Are you ready for the new Critical Infrastructure law?
With amendments to the Critical Infrastructure Act currently before parliament, impacted industry sectors are racing to get ready.
ASPI's International Cyber Policy Centre held a panel discussion on the impact of the changes to the Security Legislation Amendment (Critical Infrastructure) Bill. The Bill seeks to expand the scope of the Critical Infrastructure Act to cover critical infrastructure entities in a wider range of sectors, including health, financial and education services. The Bill further seeks to introduce mandatory cyber incident reporting requirements and enhanced cybersecurity obligations.
