The deep nature of the problems in PNG makes it perhaps the most difficult we face.
This paper, prepared by Elsina Wainwright and Hugh White, examines Australia's interests and the challenges facing PNG. It then suggests a policy approach which would enable Australia to play a more active part in helping to strengthen PNG.
