A case for collaboration: Enhancing the development outcomes of Australian resource companies' operations overseas
By Australian Strategic Policy Institute and the Foundation for Development Cooperation
ASPI and the Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) convened an Independent Task Force to consider the development impact of Australia’s resource companies operating overseas, and the relationship between these companies’ operations and Australia’s international policy.
This paper is the outcome.
The Task Force members included distinguished executives from Australia’s mining sector as well as development experts and included Anthony Bergin from ASPI and Craig Wilson from FDC. The report makes a number of recommendations aimed at advancing collaboration between the Australian Government and Australia’s resource companies in their international operations.
