Rebuilding Iraqi security forces and security institutions has been of fundamental importance to the Coalition's strategic objectives in Iraq. During the next twelve months, Iraq's greatest challenge will be to create an atmosphere of stability and security. The paper, authored by Peter Khalil, identifies future security challenges that must be overcome to ensure the implementation of a successful security strategy in the months ahead.
