Vahri is the Head of Delivery for the International Cyber Policy Centre (ICPC) at ASPI.
At ASPI, Vahri’s role is to streamline delivery management across the entire ICPC program, deconstruct projects into clear deliverables and milestones and manage all enabling elements such as recruitment, financials, contracts.
Prior to joining Vahri has spent 6 years in Defence originally providing advice to government on International Partnerships and then operational compliance advice specialising in technical implementation.
More recently, Vahri pivoted to technology as a full-time career, with experience in designing strategies and leading teams focused on low level coding, protocol analysis through to scalable query orchestration and retrieval. Vahri established the first Data Science & Engineering mission support team connecting analysts to developers, educating analysts on the technical architecture and processing platforms whilst triaging issues at operational tempo for resolution.
During this time Vahri realised her specialty was in technical leadership, distilling clear strategic goals for technical uplifts, paving paths for experts to succeed and assuring on schedule quality products.
Vahri’s passion is in adaptive leadership using Socratic methods to encourage autonomy and elevated thinking, professional and well executed delivery management, and cyber security.
