Mary Fifita is a seasoned executive with experience managing large projects and teams across multiple industries. Through her varied career, Mary has helped build one of Sydney’s most promising Pasifika led tech start-ups, Veyor Digital; led numerous projects aimed at promoting tech uplift in Sydney, including working on Smart Cities and Tech Innovation Precincts including the Redfern to Central Tech Innovation Precinct; and founded the Pacific Professionals Network, a not for profit helping people of Pasifika heritage convert education into professional success. She is currently Senior Director, Corporate Development APAC at Kacific Broadband Satellites, where she is leading the company’s engagement in the region including with several Pacific Island nations to provide them connectivity via satellite-based broadband to further democratise internet access and improve the resilience of the Pacific’s access to the internet from both physical and cyber related disruptions. Mary is also a Startmate Women’s Fellow and a BlackBird Giants Program Founder, where in her spare time she is currently working on developing an Ed-Tech start-up that aims to disrupt the tertiary education sector.
