Dr Anna Oldmeadow is Deputy Chief of Staff (Policy) to Senator the Honourable Penny Wong, Minister for Foreign Affairs. 

Dr Oldmeadow has held a number of roles at ONI (previously the Office of National Assessments), the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Foreign Affairs, including Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Tehran. She holds Honours Bachelor’s degrees in History and Law from the Australian National University and an MPhil and DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
