Biography

Trish commenced in the role of First Assistant Secretary, Office for Women in September 2017.

Her current role builds on her significant history as a senior executive leader and with experience across the public and private sectors. Trish has extensive experience and has been a vocal champion of women's leadership and advancement in many senior roles. She's also worked at the Senior Executive Service level in the Finance, Employment and Education portfolios and brings together a focus on economic and labour market policy to bear on key issues impacting gender equality and women's economic participation.

In the private sector, Trish has exemplified women's leadership by running her own consulting business and holding the roles of General Manager and Regional Director with SMS Management & Technology and Hudson Global Resources in Canberra. She has been a sought-after board member in the not-for-profit sector.

Bringing together public policy expertise, leadership in the private and community sectors, first-hand experience in running a small business, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing women and women's policy Trish is keen to work in partnership across sectors to advance gender equality, women’s safety and economic security and leadership.
