Steve has worked in the publishing industry for nearly 40 years. He joined ASPI as the Publications Manager in July 2017.

His career began as an apprentice typesetter after leaving school in the UK. After moving to Australia in 1992 his skills naturally evolved into the field of graphic design.

He has over 18 years experience working in typesetting and then graphic design roles in various graphic design agencies, advertising agencies and print companies both in England and Australia. After a short break from the industry he returned to work in the areas of print production and publishing management.

He has worked in publishing management roles for nearly 20 years at the Australian Sports Commission, The Australian Institute of Sport and the Australian Academy of Science.
