Biography
Rachael Falk is one of Australia’s leading executives at the intersection of Australia’s cyber security, governance and policy. As Chief Executive Officer of the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre since 2018, she leads a cutting-edge program to develop innovative and practical cyber security solutions through collaborations between government, industry and research institutions.
Ms Falk provides expert advice to government and industry. She currently serves on the Council of independent think-tank, the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, and is a Member of the Australian Government’s Industry Advisory Committee, guiding the implementation of Australia’s Cyber Security Strategy 2020.
Ms Falk has more than two decades of industry and consultant experience in cyber security, strategy and law. She practiced as a lawyer in top-tier law firms and in-house at Telstra Corporation Limited. She holds an Advanced Masters in National Security Policy (Hons) from the National Security College (ANU), and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (UTS) and a Bachelor of Arts (ANU).
