The 2013 Defence White Paper reconfirmed almost all of the goals of its 2009 predecessor, and added a few more for good measure. But it remains to be seen if sufficient money will be forthcoming to deliver this ambitious program. Mark Thomson will explore what the 2013 Federal Budget tells us about the affordability of the White Paper's plans for the Australian Defence Force.
