Further our event program is planned to include major lectures, conferences of senior opinion leaders in the wider community, summer schools for people at different levels, including specifically a talent-spotting seminar for promising young strategic thinkers. We will also hold regular informal seminars for the policy community in Canberra, and build a program of seminars and other events in centres around Australia. Each year we plan to bring a number of prominent international experts on defence and strategic issues to Australia for visits that may range from a few days to several months. ASPI will also undertake dialogues on strategic issues with a number of key regional countries.
